St Lawrence Motel

What a great spot for a family vacation. Pool, big yard which is safe from the road for the kids, play sets, soccer net, rooms are great sizes. Oven, fridge, microwave and BBQ! Family loved being in the national park. North rustico beach is 2 minutes down the road which made morning walks great! Can't go wrong here!

We loved our stay here. Great value for the price! Units are small and rustic, but there are very Comfortable beds and unit was quite clean. Recently updated washrooms and AC! Nice deck for a morning coffee. Location is great for exploring both Cavendish and North Rustico and easy to find. staff were helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again.

We stayed at St. Lawrence Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Its an ideal location between North Rustico and Cavendish. Great lookout's along the road. The office gave great service. We used the pool, along with other guests. There is a little swing set for kids. Had a cottage atmosphere with support from the staff when needed.

It was a very impressive experience that one star hotel could provide great service as much as other higher star hotels with less expensive price. The bathroom was remodelled and the room was clean. All the kitchen appliances worked well so that you could buy lobsters and steam them. Wifi and cable TV are fast and solid too. We were three, two in the bedroom and me on the couch bed. We slept very well there. Absolutely recommend this hotel

We had a 5 night stay. This is an older motel, but there have been updates, and it's very clean. Each unit has its own bbq which was nice. A 10 minute walk to Rustico Beach (or a 2 min drive). Also only a shirt drive to Cavendish. Rates were reasonable, and everyone was very friendly. Our bed was a bit odd (2 singles pushed together as one bed). But it was still comfortable. We would stay here again.

A Nice 3-Day Stay (Home away from home) My family and I stayed at this motel during our long road trip to PEI from Ontario back in July 2023. We could not have asked for such a nice stay. Even though this was considered a 1-star hotel accommodation, you cannot expect for more for the price especially if major attractions such as the Cavendish (i.e. where Anne Green Gables is located) and PEI Nat. Park are located within minutes driving. As a matter of fact the North Rustico beach was ONLY 10 blocks away walking. The hosts were very nice (although sometimes whenever I needed something none of them seemed around). Their pool was available although it would have been nice it was available past 7pm so I never was able to use. We managed to get the biggest room facility which consisted of an actual cottage-like setting with 2 bedrooms. Drawback was that the site had only one A/C located in the dining room. So no A/C on the bedrooms, however we were able to open the windows so fresh air would come in. Also there were quite a few bugs that somehow managed to get in. That's rural life I guess. Despite of these minor setbacks I still recommend this motel for anyone under budget.

This beautiful motel is like home away from home. Very friendly family that owns it. Rooms are clean, updated and set up perfect. The pool is great! Lots of green space for kids to run and play. Our family has been coming here for years.
